Call via Bluetooth uses SIM 2 instead of SIM 1 (like the setting is set) [duplicate]

I paired my XA2 with my car, so that i could do calls in my car. I have activated two SIM and the setting "use SIM 1 for calls". But it always calls via SIM 2. I have to deactivate SIM 2 to do calls via Bluetooth with the SIM 1.

Duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/168601/dual-sim-choose-sim-for-bluetooth-hfp-connection/

For me it did not work the workaround-way. But now I have PIN on SIM1 and it works now. Calls are executed via SIM1!??

Thanks for the link. Its a pity that this problem is an.unsolved older one. The workaround doesn't work for me. I uses on booth SIM the Pin Code and SIM 2 always find the network before the SIM 1 does. So I have to deactivate SIM 2 while driving car:(

Not only pity but also pita.

I do not want to spoil my "setup". So I ask you to check the following (in order): after disabling SIM2, connecting to bluetooth and re-enabling SIM2 --> calls via bluetooth are going via SIM2, right? What happens if you... disable SIM1, connect to Bluetooth, re-enable SIM1
connect to Bluetooth, disable SIM1, re-enable SIM1
connect to BT, disable SIM2, re-enable SIM2
or disable SIMx, re-enable SIMx, connect to BT

There must be a configuration that works...

@BlaeX Thanks for your work around.

@sr does it wotk that way for you?

Strange is that I have set a PIN on SIM1 only so SIM2 gets network connection first after reboot. But this is how I can make calls via BT from SIM1.
I fiddled around earlier like you with disabling SIMx and reboot, connect, enable, disable, and so on. So I do not really know whether it is the set PIN on my SIM1 or result of earlier 'tuning' (I do no risk to change). But that is now working for me since longer time (and reboots).

@peterleinchen Its really strange - i have to enable SIM2 only so SIM1 found a network and than i have to disable SIM2 while driving, so that the car use SIM1 for calls, but the challenge is, that sometimes while deactivating SIM2 also SIM1 lost the network...

I have the same problem.

I have the impression, that the SIM who gets the first connection to the provider become priority and therefore is used by hfp/bluetooth. Try to disable the unwanted SIM, boot up your phone and activate the unwanted SIM only after your preferred SIM has connection to the network.

Not the best work around, but with the VW it works.
