Starting with 3.0.3 I saw masses of Wifi connection errors. That was with 5Ghz Wifi enabled at the access point. I read about problems with 5Ghz on XA2 devices, so I disabled 5Ghz at my Fritzbox, and the errors are gone! So it's not just a problem for some Sony devices, but also for plain Jolla (JP-1301) phones! That's why I started a new thread for this, even if it might look as any duplicate. And: errors happen for native Sailfish apps too (like the email app), not just Android apps!

Well... JP1 has no 5 GHz at all. You must mean another phone.

I can confirm that J1 has bad connection in some 5Ghz WiFi networks. I understand that J1 doesn't support this technology. Looks more like some issues with WiFi routers with enabled ac mode.

@emva: it's in fact an Jolla 1 phone. Even if it does not support 5Ghz, I had Wifi errors, and they went away via disabling 5Ghz on the access point. Don't know how this exactly goes ...

I have a dual band wifi router in my house, and I too have occasional wifi connection problems with my Jolla C'fied Aqua Fish with 3.0.3.10.

My XA2 is a downright mess in this regard.
