Messages bubbles alignment [off-topic]

I've seen this mentioned, but I don't think it has it's own question?

In 3.1.0 bubbles was added to incoming messages. That's good, it makes them easier to distinguish. But at the same time the alignment has changed: Now incoming msgs are aligned left; outgoing right. That's confusing, at least for L2R readers, and I don't see any reason for the change?

Most messenger apps and other OSes order the messages the way SailfishOS was adapted to with version 3.1.0.
The presentation order was really confusing before this change, when switching between the SailfishOS messenging app and others (or switching between devices with other OSes).

Really? I don't use any other OSes. Last phone without SailfishOS was a Nokia N950. And I don't use any other messaging apps. My needs are simple 😉

Yes, really. It also confused me switching between Sailfish Messenger app and Telegram.
