"Slash" symbol triggers keyboard issue [not relevant]

Ahoj Sailors,
I have a rather strange keyboard behaviour: whenever I type the slash symbol ( "/" ), the virtual keyboard crashes and disappears. If I open another document, text input field, browser tab - it reappears and works as expected (as long as I don't type a slash again). Also, if I click on the space behind a written slash, the same thing happens. Any ideas, why that happens and what I can do against it?

Cannot reproduce, both in Browser and Messaging app, with various keyboard layouts.

Meanwhile I checked Journalctl which says that "signal 11" cannot be sent to both invoker and systemd (particularly the maliit-server), terminating that application.
