SMS not working - Jolla1

Hi, I'm currently on 3.1.0.11 on my Jolla1 and I'm sligthly pissed that SMS is not working at all. It does after Flight mode on + reboot. Which is a clumsy, workaround. Receiving does not work at all.

Cheers

I have the same problem. Did not really find a permanent solution apart from randomly turning dev-mode on and off, rebooting, turning flight-mode on and off and juggling the network between 4G, 3G and 2G.

Yeah, that's the reason I'm still on 3.0.1.11, never even tried to update. SMS is too important for me.

I have a Jolla 1 with 3.1.0.11 and SMS are not an issue (receiving and sending -- I did both a couple of days ago); I have a constantly activated developer mode, though.

@onehundredpercentdruken Maybe you have just been lucky up until now. It seems to stop working completely at random.

Same for me. Only turning on Flight Mode, rebooting, wait a couple of seconds (30 for me) and turning off Flight Mode helps. After some day same procedure is necessary. That's a pitty. Please Jolla, fix this main error!!!

Well, its more than a month now and this issue persists. Jolla do you read this list at all? Not even an official acknowledgment. No nothing. This is so ridiculous.

Dear @grmbl I'm having the same problem and I'm also interested in a bugfix. Can you please as the author (I hope it's still possible) add more tags so that more people can find this issue easily and make it more relevant or add a solution. E.g. "sms", "jolla", "3.1.0.11"...
