Hi,

Did anybody ever successfully shared something with messages app ? when i am in an android app and use the share icon, i can choose Messages native app.

When i do so, the link gets copied and the contact is missing or better it is a * But there is actually no way to select the contact afterwards. i would be only able to create a new contact . Am i missing something ? Else it's a bug from the beginning.

You can edit the contact information, the problem is missing access to the contacts db in android. For example from the native gallery app, you can share to mms and it works as you would expect.

yes, exactly as Pohli says. MMS is ok, but text to sms not.

also, the sms-shre plugin done by mikos works as expected

you tap the field eithe star, then press the star long and choose edit

@Kekskopf, and you end up in create contact dialog. which is what i did describe in the question as the bug. thanks for your efforts but your suggestion just describes what i did try and failed
