I have a JP1301 which worked until recently. Now it doesn't recognize the SIM card anymore. It happened in steps over 3 days, that's why I believe it is a hardware fault. Since the phone still receives firmware updates and everything else worked, I thought it might be worth to repair it.

So I visited one of these phone repair shops, but they told me that they don't want to touch such an odd phone. Thus, I wonder if anybody has ever used a repair service in Norway for his/her Jolla or if I need to send it to Mobylife in Helsinki. But then I would get trouble with toll, I guess.

Thanks

Silly question time, but I have to ask, have you tried another SIM in your Jolla and has the SIM you are using been tried in another device other than a Jolla?

Perhaps you can check if Mobylife in Norway would service Jolla devices (or they can internally arrange to have it serviced at the Helsinki office?)

Their address is on the contact page: https://mobylife.no/nb/kontakt

@simosagi, excellent. I didn't even think about MobyLife having a subsidiary in Norway. Let's see what they say.

@Edz, yes, I've double-checked my SIM card vs other SIM cards vs other devices.

The same happened to my J1 after a drop on the floor. I haven't gotten around to it, but it is my plan to go to a Repair Café. They are growing all over Scandinavia, and there is at least one in Oslo.
