Unable to delete photos [answered]
I'm trying to free up some memory and tried deleting some photos but the photos are still there after the deletion process.
I've tried deleting singly and by using the select photos option
Any ideas? Thanks

Have you tried refreshing the media cache from Utilities in Settings?
raketti ( 2019-11-01 11:31:41 +0200 )editI did find that the photos were gone after restarting the phone.
However the videos I had tried to delete were still there.
I've just tried refreshing the media database by tapping on the "Clear" button. Now there's 0 photos, 0 videos, and 0 screenshots showing.
Another restart seemed to fix that too, plus the videos are now gone. :) Thanks for the tip.
AlanBreen ( 2019-11-01 11:51:50 +0200 )editNo restart should be needed. It just takes a while for the photos and videos to show up as the media database is rebuilt. But glad you could solve it. ☺
