if your alarm goes of at 06:00:00, and you hit snooze, the snoozed alarm should go off at 06:05:00.

it does NOT. it goes off at 06:05:42, or however long it took you to snooze the first alarm.

when snoozing multiple times (if youre crazy like me), this can add up to multiple minutes, and you think its 06:15 when its really 06:18.

note: the newly configurable snooze times in 3.2, which i havent tried yet, should in no way affect this. it is not the duration of the snooze that is broken, but rather the point at which that duration starts. it has been this way in SFOS since the Beginning.

ideally, there would be yet ANOTHER new snooze option: "start snooze from last alarm" vs "start snooze from button press".

I can confirm this issue. But no problem for me, because I get up immediately after the alarm and I dont use the snooze option. But good to know! 👍

Good to know, but I wont call it a bug. It may be intended

Snooze period starts when user selects snooze.

And yes, it is intentional: SFOS inherited this behavior directly from Meego/harmattan, which inherited it from maemo, which inherited it from diablo, which ... well, that is the extent of my recall ;-)

Note that in theory timed does support "aligned snooze" flag, which basically programs the snooze to happen at 1st multiple of snooze time from the original alarm time that is in the future - which could end up being anything from 1 seconds to snooze period - but I have no idea if it has ever been used / even tested.
