[3.2.0] photos are missing in gallery since switching storage place to SD card [answered]

after installing the 3.2.0 update on my XA2 I changed the camera setting to store images on the SD card. I can take pictures and they get saved. But they never show up in the gallery app. I restarted the tracker via the utilities option in settings but that doesn't make the missing phots appear. My SD card is encrypted but unlocked and mounted. Via the file manager I have access to the photos.

Is there a way to get gallery see my photos again or is this a system bug?

I have the same problem with my xa2 (h3113) for Gallery but also for Media !!! Workaround : use Footo and Muuzik (in Jolla store). I don't understand a such bug !!!

I did

tracker index -f /where/the/card/is

and that seem to have helped. I actually had a symlink to the card, but that shouldn't matter.

I had some media files not showing. According to settings -> storage. The sd-card was not mounted. My problem was solved by remounting the card in settings application.

I can access the card via the file browser. So it absolutely is mounted. Unmounting and re-mounting doesn't help
