Can't create new line in Outlook app
Hi,
Using XA2 with SFOS 3.2.0, I can't create a new line in email body text in Microsoft Outlook app for Android. Enter simply does nothing.
Any ideas or fixes?
Thanks.

The logic around pressing Enter was changed in 3.2.0 to help with TJC#55501 - now it checks to see if there's an Editor Action that should be triggered when Enter is pressed, instead of just sending the keycode. I'd expect this bug to be a regression caused by this, but I haven't been able to replicate it. I installed Outlook v4.0.74 (373), added an email account, and created a new message. Pressing Enter on the sfos keyboard created a newline every time I tried.
Is there any different procedure I can try?
Thanks for the reply! Also, thanks for fixing the Enter key logic; that fixed so many other issues I encountered!
I tested this just now with my XA2 Ultra with SFOS 3.2.0 and my personal email address and this is roughly the sequence of events:
I tested this with composing and replying to emails, and now I am utterly unable to reproduce the issue. This can be an issue in the Outlook app instead, but I'll keep testing this with my work phone and work account, and will report back later this week.

Edit: Wrong, this is new in SailfishOS 3.2.0, see Abranson's comment.
Workaround: Switch to an Android Keyboard app (e.g. Hackers Keyboard or Anysoft Keyboard ("ASK"), both available at F-Droid) for using apps or webpages, which trigger this issue.
IIRC this needs Aliendalvik Control to activate additional vKBDs, which then can be selected per Hackers Keyboard's app or some other Android vKBD switching tool (e.g. Keyboard Switcher from F-Droid).
This works well on an Xperia X and Jolla 1 with their old Android4 runtime environment (AlienDalvik), have not tested it on an XA2 or Xperia 10 yet.

The browser has sometimes problems in the text field of the Outlook's web app too.
