White LED of death! 3rd re-flash in a week. Xperia 10+
The finger print failed it did not register and I should have been wiser, I restarted the phone. Got the white LED of death along with max brightness dark screen.
I spent a whole day updating contacts, apps, getting everything just perfect... all of that for nothing. Everything is now lost.
Sailfish X for the 10+ is an alpha at best and I used to take comfort in the fact I bought the license for half the price. Now even that price seems steep.
I don't think Jolla has dropped the ball as hard as this time around ever... I am honestly considering just using feature phones and stop believing in something like this.
Sailfish is unusable and unreliable right now.
Have you considered that this might be more hardware than software related?
Fuzzillogic ( 2019-12-05 13:02:38 +0200 )editno, @rubyhorse is not the only one. system hangs (?), afterwards the filesystem is broken.
luchmhor ( 2019-12-05 15:04:47 +0200 )editI thought it could be hardware as the battery (brand new) lasts less than a day with moderate usage. But the phone works fine for hours and then something happens and once you restart it becomes unusable.
To me it seems like a OS issue most likely.
rubyhorse ( 2019-12-05 18:30:22 +0200 )editsame problem here ... at least one time already. Let's see with more days
pat_o ( 2019-12-05 20:42:38 +0200 )editsecond time already ;-) The first time it turned off because of low battery and could not turn on again. The second time it was because I wanted to turn it off to put a sd card and then again it would not turn it on... Maybe I always had the phone plugged...
