Being in developer mode, I did what I usually do

[root@Sailfish nemo]# ssu re 3.2.1
Changing release from 3.2.0.12 to 3.2.1
Your device is now in release mode!
[root@Sailfish nemo]# version --dup
REFRESHING CACHE AND DOWNLOADING PACKAGES
Finished transaction (status=1, runtime=125336ms)
UPGRADING SYSTEM
Working: 4%

After this it disappeared - the developer mode was disabled and can not be enabled even after reboot.

This is really odd. Good that it was not my daily phone, I would be very upset.

You tried to upgrade to a non-existent release version, 3.2.1 (presumably instead of 3.2.1.19).

Generally, do use the GUI updater (or if that fails sfos-upgrade to upgrade at the command line), which both prevent such mishaps.

Thanks but the OS update says I am up to date with 3.2.0.12 and the sfos-upgrade package says "sfos-upgrade performs the steps to upgrade SailfishOS at the command line in an automated manner".

I just mentioned I have lost the command line.

What are the other options?

Mishaps - its Friday

Ah I think I'll wait, cause it says '3.2.1.19 was released to Early Access subscribers. '

Friday, Friday!

The OS update still says I am up to date with 3.2.0.12.

Isn't there a way to fix this from recovery mode + chroot etc.?

PS: The other phone (daily use not affected) sees the update.
