Hey,
did nobody else have that? Or is it just me?

When using any other ambience than the 'new' white/light themes then I cannot really use the keyboard anymore. I first observed when I wanted to switch keyboard and found a white box with white letters. Hard to find the right keyboard. Okay, not a deal breaker but...

Then I realized that this also occurs for the second letters of keyboard popping up when long-pressing. This now is a deal breaker and no fun.

I have re-installed jolla-system-settings and restarted maliit-server. No patches applied..

It seems I found the reason/culprit.

This happened after having the system upgraded to 3.2.1.
I checked what else could be related to this behaviour and found okboard installed. I tried a reinstall to no avail. Then removed the package okboard-full and it was back to normal.

Then I installed it again and it was/is still okay!

So for anybody running into this, just do:

pkcon remove okboard-full
pkcon install okboard-full

Re-opened.

It seems I was too fast. After re-applying my patches the problem was back. So more testing and after re-installing okboard-full the problem was back.

Now I am sure it is due to okboard and 3.2.1.

Anybody else?

Just enabling okboard functionality triggers this.

After disabling the behaviour is normal again.

I can ACK that okboard is currently broken on 3.2.1.

Erm, yes

When using any other ambience than the 'new' white/light themes then I cannot really use the keyboard anymore.
