To copy text I need to answer message, which drives me to editor, where I can select text and copy, after that I need to discard the message. Isn't there a way to copy text directly from email?

Short answer: NO!
Longer rant: Jolla is aware of this usage-unfriendly thing since six years and no sign of change in the sky...
But to be fair: iirc in very early sailfish versions the answer/forward mail was put as unselectable text block. So something has moved ;)
