[BUG]Messages: no longer possible to select text

I can not copy tracking number from an SMS because selecting text is not possible any more..I have to copy the message to Notes and select the tracking number there. 3.2.1 Xperia 10.

oh, beaten by tanghus :)

if I am right I was also right to add it to the 100 paper cut bug list

if it was possible at some time this is "just a normal bug"

This has been possible. I'm not sure which update caused the regression. My guess is Torronsuo.

Sailfish Messages has never supported full copy&paste.

You can copy the whole message, and the text links (numbers, email addresses, urls) get interactive link, but unfortunately Qt does not support copy&paste on read-only text. There are ways around it, but the implementation is not trivial thus no support yet.
