Can we get the signature photos of the various Sailfish OS releases?
I really like the signature photos that Jolla assigns to every release of Sailfish OS. They communicate the principles of this system, openness and beauty, so nicely. So I'm wondering if we can get these photos from Jolla to use them as ambiances on our devices. Maybe as a download from within our Jolla accounts, or from the Jolla store? Do the licences of these photos permit such a distribution? Are there also portrait versions of these photos available? The landscape versions that we can see under Settings > Sailfish OS updates wouldn't be useful for usage as an ambiance.

Knowing how to get the signature photo of the currently installed release is a good start. However, I would also like to have all the previous photos, preferably without having to google them or manually dig them out from some software package. It would already be nice to have them as default pictures in the gallery on fresh Sailfish OS installations, even though this leaves the question open how to automatically get the photos of subsequent releases (without having to manually copy them from the mentioned location every time).
As for ready-made ambiances with the current signature photo: I don't need them. I can create such ambiances myself.

Anyway, I think I can safely say, this idea will not gain any traction at HQ. No vote from me, as I believe this to be a waste of resources, something jolla is incredibly short of.
But hey, the votes will determine the outcome and this will fall silently into the depths of Room 101a.

I'd say digging these file(s) out from a repository should be less than 15-30 minutes for Jolla
and providing them on their site another hour, okay listing them nicely with every release and name may take a bit more (another 2 h ?)
I would like to have this picturez (as is) provided by Jolla in any form, but agree this will not happen.
