Hyper-V compatibility on windows, or no VM at all

Hello,

I use Windows 10 Pro to work, and use the native hypervisor, Hyper-V, for most of my work (docker, VMs, management, etc.).

Virtualbox is not compatible with Hyper-V, and thus cannot be ran on a computer which has Hyper-V enabled and running.

Is there a way to either:

  • Let Hyper-V handle the VM, and develop with Hyper-V
  • Have no VM at all, and instead develop right on the mobile device (much like Android or iOS allows)

Thanks

Develop on the device via USB / SSH and maybe use something like this, if it is still supported;

So there is no way to develop on a computer without VirtualBox, knowing that the VBox dependency is only necessary for running the apps?

i.e. No building, no debug-over-usb for Sailfish ?

I really don't know, my experience is somewhat limited as to what is possible, but if I recall correctly, it's not even possible to install SFOS SDK without Virtualbox, I recall the SDK installer complains first off that there is no Virtualbox installed.

Thanks for the heads-up. I hope that'll change at some point in the future.
