[bug][Xperia 10] Incoming call impossible to answer

Hi all,

I have an Xperia 10 dual sim (non plus) with latest Sailfish OS version (3.2.1.20), often when I receive a call, the phone vibrates (without ringtone, and it's not on silent) and when I try to pick up the call, the screen stays turned off, if I push the power button it turns on for a fraction of a second, then it'll goes back off. I missed 3/4 calls for this reason, I find this as a really bad bug, not sure what generates it though. I have the second sim deactivated. Anyone else (I sup[pose not) experienced this? Maybe I have to re-flash my phone? Not that I am keen to do so, I don't like to lose all my settings, calls history, sms, etc.

I had a similar bug a few days ago, but on a Xperia X SFOS 3.2.1.20. I was called but was unable to pick up. I had to wait that the call ended, to recall the person...

I've tried the Ancelad's method, hopefully it'll change something. As soon as I'll receive some calls I can tell if it works or not. Thank you!

I have this problem too, but in my case I get absolutely no sound from the call and the caller cannot hear me either. It seems to correlate to disconnecting my bluetooth headset but I will have to investigate more, and after restarting my phone the problem disappears and I can properly make calls again. So, it does not seem to be hardware related and in any case the phone is completely new. It happens every single day and is as you say a really bad bug. Edit: I have a Xperia 10

I had the same after I enabled follow setting: mcetool --set-ps-on-demand=disabled.
The reason is that Sony had a problem with the proximity sensor. I disabled on-demand to enable the double tap funtion with sneek peak.

The bad thing is that than sometimes the screen is black if you get an call. My solution is a timer to restart the ps service recurrently. You can also enable on demand (original setting from SFOS 3.2.1.20), because the the proximity sensor is than only activ when you get an call. Sometimes it helps to clean the sensor next to the camera on the display.

Here and here you found more details to the timer. The final version of my timer setting is in the first link in my post from 19.01.2020.

I hope it helps.
