I’m searching how to handle physical buttons (camera button and volume up/down menu) in apps (QML and/or C++), for custom behaviour. Can't find where to do it in the doc reference.

Any advice on this ?

Look at this code https://github.com/monich/harbour-counter In 1.0.4 Slava added support for volume keys. So you can find it in his code.
