default & deleted sim numbers appear after restart [answered]

From the beginning, on the sim card there have been many numbers, which have been added by the provider of the tariff. As I don't need most of them and they take up much space I've deleted them. The problem is, everytime I restart the phone this deleted numbers appear back in my contact/person list.

This useless app icon corresponding to those numbers reappears after reboot as well.

This is the STK (SIM Application Toolkit) and you will never get rid of it (if your SIM provides it).

How do you 'delete' them?
In people app? I guess useless as modern "smartphones" only allow you to import SIM memory but not edit it.

Take a look under Settings-Apps-People and see whether 'Show SIM contacts automatically' is ticked. Remove that tick mark and see in people app.
Should solve this.

If you want to get rid of all that contact information completely put that SIM to an old 'dumb phone' and edit the SIM memory inside of this phone.

To remove "Show SIM contacts automatically" worked for me. Thank you :)
