Since 3.3.0.14 I have frequent reboots of the system on the Xperia 10 Dual Sim, around 1-3 times/day with medium usage. I might be mistaken but it happens almost exclusively when using Andoid apps like switching tabs in Brave broswer or clicking on notifications from Telegram in the Sailfish notification screen. If it happens the last executed action seems to cause a lag of 1-2 seconds, then screen black and reboot. This didn't happen at all with Sailfish 3.2.

I have an xperia 10 and I have the same problems. In previous version I had some reboots primarly using android applications with new update twice a day. The android layer starts to slow down and then all gets very laggish till it reboots with a red light.

same here, did you get rid of it?

I just got the same effect but meanwhile it sometimes stays black (screen turned on) with the notification led shining constant red.

Also on the dual sim Xperia 10 but already/meanwhile with 3.3.0.16

It has become way better. My suspect is a high number of open tabs in the browser. It starts at around 25 tabs in Brave.

thx, I will have a look on that as I tend also to have a lot of tabs open but usually I am using android Firefox.

btw. most likely anyhow re-flashing next week - if I do I will also report how it will behave

Never had a reboot again but I am afraid somehow now Alien Dalvik/Android Runtime is restarting from time to time. Assuming this, because once in a while I get all Android app notifications again. Even if I removed them (not tapped/used them) before.

Furthermore, if I use one android app to open a link/pdf/calender it opens the selected app but immediately sets it to its default window not the file, exported event, etc.. If I go back by tapping the android back screen button (multiple times), it for the blink of an eye shows the desired he file, exported event, etc..

Unfortunately, I was lacking time to investigate it in detail and in general have to give up SFOS once again and switch to android.

Reverted to 53.0.A.8.69 (Android 9) and cleanly installed 3.3.0.16 (after doing all the recommended checking tasks like using wifi, mobile data connection etc.)

I have same problems with X10. Begun after updating to Rokua. It can reboot itself more than 10 times a day, even when i'm talking on phone. I tried to reset my phone but nothing help from that. It has many times shutted down on night so i was many times late from work because alarm doesn't work when it has restarted itself.

Why does the phone lose the alarm on reboot? That's another bug right there. I would test for this myself but have been holding off buying a Sailfish phone to try avoiding these annoying bugs.

I doubt it looses the alarm on reboot. Mine certainly doesn't. However, the reboot of the OS cannot complete without the user entering the security code to decrypt the storage. Of course you cannot do that during your sleep. So this is not an additional bug, but the consequence of these unwanted reboots.

By the way, I personally never experienced a spontaneous reboot with my Xperia 10 plus. SFOS is certainly not a buggy OS, but you need to be at least a bit geeky and you shouldn't expect everything to be as polished as the large mobile OSs.
