is there any native Matrix client which is still maintained or under actuall development? I found on the website several QT based desktop client but non for sailfish (even they habe one for the 3ds) as well i didn't find one on openrepos maybe i just used the wrong keywords. I found some older Post but not a real answer.

Not sur but most QT based client look to nead more ressent version of QT that sailfish have... upgrade of QT may help. (I hop)
https://matrix.org/sdks/ give all (most) SDK... if we can find the best for Sailfish (fonctionalitie/portabilitie) it may be a fisrt step...
i just can programm a bit not enough for trying to implement a save messenger ;) https://github.com/quotient-im/libQuotient needs 5.9 and recomment 5.12 is sailfish still on 5.2 or it already made it to 5.6?
