I installed predictive text and then decided - predictably - that it was irritating and distracting, so I removed it...except it won't go away after repeated reboots. Is there a trick? Rokua 3.3 XA2ultra

Hi. Yes, a trick is needed. There seems to be a bug which prevents uninstalling this feature in the usual way in Jolla Store app.

You will need to enable the developer mode. This brings the Terminal app available and you can get the super-user rights for yourself.

Open Terminal app and give the following 3 commands:

devel-su
pkcon remove jolla-xt9
reboot

Done. Disable the developer mode unless you need it.

jovirkku thanks a million! I was about to reset which would have been a real pain.
