Of all the bugs I have encountered with Sailfish OS throughout the years, this surely takes the cake for the most bizarre.

So, I have setup an email account, working fine for months (Fastmail platform). Sync setting is set to "Always up-to-date". After updating to 3.3.0.14, new mail notifications are not displayed until AFTER I have disabled wifi! I usually keep wifi on throughout the day and only turn it off at bedtime. BANG, just when I am about to fall asleep, that's when my XA2 decides to inform me about new mail. Annoying as hell.

Asking the obvious here: are you sure you've disabled mobile data as well? When wifi is disabled, mobile data is used (if available of course). I use flight mode. Works as expected.

Yes, because of lockdown I almost never have mobile data on currently. I have to point out here that annoyance aside, the more serious aspect of this bug is that I miss potentially important mail notifications throughout the day.

So, as a workaround, I have set the account's sync settings to something other than "Always up-to-date", e.g. "Every 15 minutes". I have discovered that with this setting the new mail notifications are received normally when wi-fi is enabled.
