Since some time, switching off the vibration does not work anymore. No matter what setting I choose (Always on, always off and so on) and with ringtone being muted of not, vibration is always on. (Jolla 1 phone)

Do you have a process to reproduce it?

On my J1 (without SIM card), if I set a timer in clock app, with Vibration setting at "always", when the timer ends, the phone vibrates. If the vibration setting is "Never", the phone doesn't vibrate.

It seems ok for me.

@VincentB: that's exactly how I test it. But sadly it does NOT work.

After VincentB's "Seems ok for me" message, I asked myself again, what could be the reason for my problem. And I came to the Situations app I have installed on my J1. And somehow that was the cause apparently: I disabled the app function (there's a switch within the app for that), rebooted the phone, and since then everything works fine again, even after enabling Situations.
