Jolla doesn't power up after Maadankajärvi update! [answered]

I succesfully went through the update procedure 100%, download, install. Phone restarted automatically as it should. I then thought to shutdown / restart Jolla one more time to "make sure".

Now my phone is "dead"! The power button does not do anything, pressed long time or short time. Any gesture does absolutely nothing, it does not matter if charger is connected either :/ -now what!?

Did you try to remove the battery for 10 mins or more? This helped in much situations.

I removed the battery, just put it back, it solved this! Makes me wonder though, what causes this? This could cause hesitation to update etc. for many people.

It still happens to me with Vaarainjärvi. I don't know if this is normal.
