I like to manage the contacts in Android independent of the basic Sailfish system. I know that alien-dalvik and Sailfish use independent contacts databases.
Does anyone know a simple contacts managing app working at Xperia X with its limited android support? Contacts pro is unfortunately not working.

I have Simple Contact 4.3 (2018) on my old BlackBerry. It runs with Doid 4.3 Jelly Bean. You need the apk?
That would be fine.
How transfer the apk? PN seems not possible here. Single day email could be the alternative: satiras855@qortu.com.

Many thanks, but also this version makes the same android.content.OperationApplicationException: insert failed like the current version.
Possibly the database insert/write/change (what ever) access is limited to alien-dalviks link functionality and the direct access is not working without changing some access rules.

Afaik there are two different contact databases. But they are not independent.
And writing to that from Android side did not work yet (but Jolla wants to enable that).

I am using OpenContacts from FDroid which enables me to have a different contact database on Android side needed for WA reasons only. I do not know if it works with other Android stuff...
