Setting up correctly GMX (United Internet) Calendar in SFOS [answered]

As you are using gmx: is carddav also working?
And (I am afraid I know the answer): will it sync the whole address book from device to internet? Or (preferred) create as with calender a new section/book of contacts and only that part is synchronized?

Hi it is working too but I initially didnt set it up with my account. So I tried with another gmx account and could see my contacts getting transferred. The only problem now seems to be that after initial account creation you can not add the carddav anymore. So I guess you have to set it up all at once.

Im not sure how to create sections, but it automatically uploaded the complete contacts from the phone to the server. It never asked me to select a part or all. Maybe while setting up you could indirectly choose a sub directory with the same name like a contact group on the phone to have a selective sync. But Im purely speculating here. I guess it just does the full up/download.

What I see though is that it creates many entries in this style ;Home;;; if these are originally sim contacts. seems like Jolla stores then differently in the DB than it shows. I have now many double entries because it also seems to split the linked contacts again into single ones... not really comfortable
