Battery notification at 75% [answered]

I'm not sure if I have made some changes or installed an app that does it, but now when I'm changing my XA2 I get a transient notification when it reaches 75% and keeps doing it every minute or so until charger is disconnected. I would like to get one notification to preserve the battery, so it's possible I have read a tip somewhere, but I really don't remember.

That's Battery Buddy, and yes that is a known bug that sometimes appears. It should be fixed in the corrent version.

Restart the phone, or the harbour-batterybuddy.service manually.

Found it. Thank you :) I used the in-app restart. That should restart the service, right?

I'm not quite sure, what the bug is. because the app does what it promises. It doesn't seem to honor the "Battery high notification interval", and it should be possible to set it to 0 to only have one notification.

Are you the author of the app? If so thanks for an app I have needed a long time, but forgot that I had found ;)

I'm the author of Battery Buddy, hello :)

There is a bug somewhere that makes the service component not respect one (or more?) setting. As said, restarting the service helps. Also, make sure you are running the latest version, as it makes some cleanup for old service files.

A proper support for only sending one notification is in the works, and it's not that far away actually :)

Great app @Direc. The settings I use now seems to both spare the battery and doesn't with multiple notifications. Thanks :)
