network search takes long time after flight-mode or network sim change
Hi, recently i have used the xperia-10 with SFOS 3.3.0.16 while traveling and had to change the network sim quite often cause of bad coverage. I used a vodafone sim1 and a telekom (congstar) sim2 in germany, both with LTE. When changing the network connection from sim1 to sim2 - both had been "status registerted" with umts or lte - status from sim-scout app - sim2 goes "offline" and network on sim2 is "searching". Same thing the other way-around when switching from sim2 to sim1. The "connecting back" to the network takes around 20secs to 2 minutes, even with a good signal afterwards.
Is this "normal" that the device loses the network, when changing the internet-connection to the other sim?
I also used the flight-mode quite often - saving battery while hiking - and when disabling the flight mode, searching for a network also takes the same amount of time. It does not matter if I have perfect 4G on both sim cards afterwards, I just counted 1:30mins to connect both sims.
Does your xperia-10 also need this long to register to a network after flight mode/reboot?
I can confirm the described behaviour (Xperia 10 plus in my case), and have just created a service request at Jolla support.
