So am attempting to connect the Jolla to my companies network and they use LEAP wifi, to my knowledge wpa_supplicant supports more or less everything but I cant seem to find a config file under /etc/wpa_supplicant or under /var/run/wpa_supplicant to edit. Any ideas how I can connect to LEAP while the GUI doesn't seem to be up to date on this matter.

Thanks for the answer, and if LEAP is insecure somebody needs to let IBM know :P Cheers chemist.

ConnMan does not support LEAP method.

BTW, according to wikipedia Cisco LEAP is insecure and should not be used anyway
