I had to reboot the device after the connectivity bug hit me. First attempt to go online with an android app failed, sailfishos was fine, all android apps I checked were unable to connect to their servers so I checked again by pinging a website - worked.

Stopping aliendalvik.service and starting an android app that needs internet from the start worked out.

Was the first time this occurred to me but from reading other reports about alien-dalvik loosing connection this might be not only a temporary hick-up.

So now it is gone completely and killing alien-dalvik hit another bug (black screen green flashing led) I uninstalled android support and reinstalled, after reboot still no connection.

I fixed the problem by removing all android apps (including android compatibility) from the device, reboot and install back. Killing alien or reinstalling it did not help anymore. Now all apps have connection again and I have an Upgrade notification to 1.0.3.8...

Was it affecting both your WLAN and 3G/4G connection or only one of them? My problem is that my Android apps have connectivity when I'm using 3G/4G but not when using WLAN. To make it more complex, Android Skype works with WLAN but all the other Android apps return some connection errors.
