When selecting "+" from the Email application cover, the new email is sent from a specific mailbox, which isn't possible to define from within the UI. In my case, it's sent from the mailbox that I set up last. It would be nice to:
a) be able to select a default mailbox from where emails will be sent
b) be able to change the "from" mailbox at the time of composition, maybe from the pulley menu

thanks for the edit, jsiren. I think the "see also" is a different issue though.

Also applies to sharing items by email; everything is sent by default from the account added as last. There should be a possibility to define either a default account or then re-order them in settings, I keep accidentally sharing private photos from my work account :(

If you tap or start pulling from the three dots under the subject line you can select the email account to send from.

Indeed, it is inconvenient that the last account added is the default. A simple solution would be to allow reordering the accounts in settings.

Thanks, didn't notice about the three dots. I'll leave the question open as the main thing I think is the default email address.
