email cover to show #unread per account

i have 3 email accounts. depending on the time of day i ignore some and check others all the time. i would love to see the number of unread emails per account on the app cover. in my case 3 icons with corresponding num of unread emails next to each.

Sounds like a nice idea. How would you make the cover look for people with 10 email accounts or so though?

i would prob consider more than 4 accounts corner cases. many design solutions would be possible. fade, crop, or shrink to fit more? i personallt would fade out the fourth. just like phone numbers are faded on phone cover.

How about different colors for different mail-accounts? Similar to events on the calendar-app cover.
