How do I avoid browser saving passwords?
When I enter a username/password into a form on a web-page, I am served a big screen asking if I want the browser to remember the password. I can press "Save" in the top right corner, or I can use a gesture to go back to the form, but I cannot log on without having the browser save the username/password.
In itself that is quite annoying, but it gets worse: Going to Settings -> Apps -> Browser and selecting Clear private data does not clear the username/password!
If possible, I would also like to be able to disable the ability of the browser to save username/password entirely. Is there a workaround to avoid the credentials being saved, e.g. modifying a hidden settings file on the phone?
I am using a Jolla phone updated to Sailfish OS version 1.0.4.20.
Webcat does not try to save passwords. Thanks for the tip, Hans!
