I've had the same, after 1.0.4.20 update. In a situation where in previous updates "Connection Error" would be spammed. Instead what now happened (bad wlan signal) is that switching mobile data on, the mobile data icon stayed light green (on-pressed with my green ambience). The phone was totally stuck and I had to shut it down. The shutdown process took several minutes to complete while the red led was alight. After it turned off, I could start the device again.
