Factory reset error: "Couldn't backup rootfs, maybe the filesystem is corruped"

After successfully updating my Jolla to 1.0.4.20, Ohijärvi version, everything seemed to be stable until I started to suffer some of the reported issues (next time maybe I should have paid more attention disabling openrepos before updating...).

In order to start from scratch, I try to factory-reset the Jolla but I could not get it due to some problems arising during the process:
