[feature-request] Activate lock screen code [answered]

Currently it is only possible to go to the lock screen or swipe the screen "black" (from top going down on lock screen or apps overview screens).

I'd like to see a possibility to actively activate the code protected lock screen. Currently, the timer based activation works. But sometimes (like being in a crowded area with potential pick-pockets around), I'd like to explicitly activate the code protection.

Perhaps it could be done by using the power button to lock. So a swipe from the of the screen would just put the screen to sleep, while pushing the power button would lock the phone.

Swipe down to lock the screen (lock icon appears), then without lifting your finger move it left or right (icon changes to lock with a key) and lock screen code is activated for one time only. I would like it like that. What do you think =)

I've been using this for months and I find it a perfect solution for this. With it you can add "Lock Device" to the lock screen pulley menu so you dont have to reach for the power key. You have the option to swipe down to shut down the screen or go to pulley and lock the device. You might need developer mode though, not sure.

@synthent: Thanks! That works like a charm!

Device can be directly locked by double-pressing the power-key.

Thanks for the tip! This works great on 1.1.1.27.
