Mail doesn't update in Store [answered]

Having the System Update now I am facing problems to update the mail App. Actually I made the update already and it works perfectly now even though before I had known issues with SMTP username. Nonetheless I receive notifications about available update and in Store I can activate the update. Then it goes to "waiting" but nothing happens at all, until message about problem with store appears.

Had the same problem. Just uninstall the mail app and install it again. Mails will still be there (atleast Exchange/IMAP)

Problem solved by removing Mail App and reinstalling. Now it is shown as actual.

However, should be checked why store has this behaviour.

Updated you jolla-email app before system update?

Actually not. Made factory reset, waited for System Update to take place and after that installed the Apps freshly...

May be you can try install new version via terminal.

Yay, that should work, too. Problem on my device is anyhow solved. This thread is more to avoid such behaviour of the store in future and make it "non-geek-friendlier" :))

I have the same. But even after update still can't send email with attachement. I mean, it goes out but on the other mail client I see nothing.
