A native app for mosh would be more than welcome. Yes i know you can get it from open repos and run it at a terminal but this doesn't cut it IMO.

A nice native interface where you can set up connections and everything else you need would be much better. Not having to depend on fingerterm and having a dedicated terminal in the app will be awesome.

PS, In case someone is interested in writing one i have some ideas for the UI + he will get an icon.

MOSH would dramatically improve the mobile connectivity for Jolla:)

Mosh native app is already in openrepos, so topic is wrong, you want mosh configuration UI application. Although you can already manually edit terminal settings to have your most commonly used mosh destinations as shortcuts in terminal UI (top right corner).

@rainisto You use it through fingerterm right? I have something different in my mind about how an app like that should work. As i stated on the main post i will propose a UI/UX to the person that will decide to write one. I know you are busy with jolla BUT if you are interested let me know. :)

terminal with builtin mosh (that what native app actually would be), could also suspen totally when not in cover / front. That point might actually not matter that much with jolla multitasking, but I were usig N9 when i thought about this.

Couple of montsh ago I actually looked at finger-term code if it would be easy to create a mashup.

@beeki There is a qml terminal thing that can be used instead of fingerterm https://github.com/jorgen/yat but i have no idea if it will be good enough to use.
