Messages change type to MMS

Hi all

A SMS is limited to 160 characters and has a specific price (about 20cents in Switzerland). The price of a small MMS is allmost the price (30 cents) of a normal SMS.

So instead of sending 3 concatenated SMS (60 cents), I'd like to change the type of the message to MMS (perhaps later with the ability to attach files).

Just to know, where do you live do get those kind of prices for SMS/MMS ?

I know, compared to the surrounding countries the prices are incredible. But that's life in Switzerland. The salaries are high but the costs for living are at the same level ;-)

However, what do you think about the proposition to be able to change the message type to MMS in additon to XMPP and SMS?

Not a good idea for everyone or just an option because for example, in France SMS are free!

It would just mean you have an option more to choose from when typing a message. Like it is now between SMS to one of the contacts numbers or XMPP (perhaps there are other options but I only use these two).
