Cannot update Sailfish OS after updating basic applications from Jolla store [answered]

When I try to update the system it doesn't work - nothing is opened, no message is show, nothing. I tried running the update both from notification and from Settings -> system -> about (when I use the option to update in the pully menu, but when I select it nothing happens).

Steps:

  1. Today the first notification I got was about applications (Calendar, Notes, Documents, Calculator, Clock, Mail, Android support).
  2. I updated all of them (had to restart the process a few times as the updates where either unsuccessful or stuck).
  3. And after finally finishing all app updates I received system update notification.

I already tried restarting - didn't help. Not sure if this is a bug or I messed up because I updated system applications before the system.

I believe this might help (if you have enabled developer mode).
