Hi all,

i would like to see something like Android´s "Mock Locations" for the developer mode. http://developer.android.com/training/location/location-testing.html

It would be nice to be able to change the longitude and latitude on the go.

Hi DerJott, thanks for bringing this up :) However, I'm suggesting this as a duplicate with https://together.jolla.com/question/1876/bluetooth-gps-support/ (close enough?)

Not exactly. A bluetooth GPS device is still a "local" GPS transmitter. What i´m asking for is a software-side solution where you can set up your location directly from the dev mode.

You might be right with that, however most Bluetooth drivers take advantage of the same method (Phone needs to accept a mock location which is received from the external device)

Not actually a duplicate, but seems to be included in this request for the possibility to set location manually. I wouldn't restrict this feature to developer mode, anyway.

Yes, it´s mostly the same, you´re right. Hope to get this feature implemented in upcoming releases...
