Trouble reinstalling an apk

Hello,

some weeks ago I installed a *.apk file, which worked fine. But I didn't need so I uninstalled it (via the hold and delete icon). Also worked fine (I think).

But now, weeks later, I need to install it again, and it doesn't work. It just says "App was not installed" at the end of the installation. I don't know why, or even how to find out why it fails :( Is the failed reason stored in some log file?

NOTE: I also tried deleting the /data/data/APP.DIR but when I try to install the app still says it will replace another app, so I guess it is not fully uninstalled.
