I need continuous alarm.

There are too many cases of me oversleeping because the three ticks of alarm fail to wake me up. It is directly influencing my ability to work (like having no time to eat breakfast, or losing the job for the day - I am lucky to be an agency worker, otherwise I would lose my contract and positive reference), so please make it a critical bug. The previous behaviour of alarm was good enough with constant repetition to the point where I was getting sick of it - that is how the alarm is supposed to work: to force me out of bed.
