I recently added my twitter account via Settings->Accounts->New. There isn't any tweet coming up, the events view remains empty - even after a full day with plenty of tweets. Deleting and readding the account didnt help.

Update 1:

I tried the suggestions to remove Jolla from the list of applications with access to twitter, then removed the twitter account from the phone and rebooted. I'm getting still the same results... :(

Strange: when i pull down to refreh in the twitter view, the phone asks me which network i want to connect to, although i'm aready online through WLAN.

Update 2:

After rebooting I'm not asked anymore to connect to a network while already online. I will try to reset the phone when the new Sailfish version is incoming.

What do you mean with the notification center? Do you mean the events screen which comes up by swiping up from the bottom or the 'Tweets'-section on the events screen? If you mean the 'Tweets'-section then it is 'normal' behaviour because it shows only new tweats and no older tweats...

I meant the events view, yes. I will rename the title to clarify that. There wont add any Tweets even after a full day.

I just added my Twitter account and it seems to have worked, although for some reason profile pictures are not showing up.

Maybe it's a problem on Twitter's side? Have you checked this page, removed the 'Jolla' app and tried again?

Try to reboot your Jolla. :)

I noticed I had exactly the same issue just now, a reboot fixed that. Although now the store doesn't work, it doesn't show any installed apps, but doesn't say that I don't have any installed apps. Very strange.

I did a manufacture reset of the phone. Now it seems to work right. (Although there are some othr problems because of the store... but that's another story).

I might have an idea what could have caused this: I changed ownage and permissions of the signon.db for security reasons. Could it be that the twitter app couldn't access it anymore after creating it? But why could it create an account anyway then?

...who knows ;-)

Update:

Did a manufature reset and applied a backup without accounts. Now it works as it should :)
