Sync from Pulley menu in CalDAV Account does not work [released]

I correctly configured an CalDAV Account towards my ownCloud server. All calendars are found and also shown correctly in the calendar. When I create a new calendar entry, it is not synced up automatically to the server. No problem here.

The new entry will be synced properly with the "regular" Sync content run, as configured in CalDAV (custom setting).

What does not work however is when I create an event, go to the Account setting and select "Sync" from the Pulley menu. There is no visible indicator that anything happens and also the access log on my server does not show any communication attempts.

(Not a big problem, thank you for the support in first line! This is a key feature for me :) )

Same problem here. I really need this - I use radicale as my server backend but it doesn't sync all-day events. I wanted to debug this and see what is happening, but without possibility to force sync and watch logs...it's quite annoying.

Same for me error message thrown is: lipstick[952]: AccountSyncAdapter.qml: Account 19 from onlinesync isn't syncable.

Same issue here with OwnCloud. I need a manual sync since my OwnCloud server is only accessible within my network. So a regular sync makes no sense for me.

Hi everybody. I got several calendars on an Owncloud server and it dosent sync, and some calendars are not shown on the calendar application even though they are corectly configured. Ownclou version 6.0 (stable)

Hi, this is indeed a bug for caldav accounts and it has been fixed for the next release.

In regards to the calendar name, this is taken from the calendar name reported by the server. Also we will discuss the possibility of allowing calendar names to have a different name locally in a future release, as we have similar issues for other non-caldav calendars (e.g. those from Google). Although, perhaps it is sufficient to show the account name in the calendar list, if the main problem is distinguishing between different calendars.

One account can have several calendars, so account name can only be an additional information to the calendar name.

So I, hope, that a bug fix / next update will come THIS WEEK, since we have been waiting 5 months for this is feature! It is really that there is only very limited use of the Jolla phone, if the essential CalDAV functionality is not working. I still cannot recommend the phone to anybody, until the ESSENTIAL things are working. .
