Does not work for me. I set up a CalDav account for Google's public holiday calendar (de.german#holiday@group.v.calendar.google.com). Although the calendar appears in calendar app's managed calendars, neither manual nor scheduled sync (15 min. or twice a day) seem to work. No entries have been synced from Google to calendar app. Not even after reboot.
