Jolla lacks native popular internet calling apps

Jolla lacks many native popular internet calling apps like skype, viber and etc. I learnt that it is the up to the app developers to make it happen. Why don't they work with skype or viber to bring the app to jolla? Or at least lite version of the skype or viber app that allow us to make free skype to skype call only(no SMS, no group chat, no video call,etc)
A sip softphone integrated with the main dialer app would be an important step forward.
Skype works for me well with android integration!
